Set within the beautiful surroundings of Bestwood Country Park, Bestwood Lodge is one of Nottinghamshire's most distinctive historic wedding venues, combining Victorian architecture with peaceful woodland and countryside.
The history of the estate stretches back centuries, with Bestwood once forming part of the ancient royal hunting grounds of Sherwood Forest. The magnificent lodge we see today was built between 1862 and 1865 for the 10th Duke of St Albans and designed by architect Samuel Sanders Teulon.
With its striking Gothic Revival architecture, mature trees and beautiful grounds, Bestwood Lodge offers a unique atmosphere for weddings. From intimate moments inside the historic building to romantic portraits surrounded by nature, every part of the estate provides a beautiful setting for photographs.
